ZIMBABWE
Formerly known as Rhodesia, Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in the Southern part
of Africa and found between the Zambezi and the limpopo rivers. Shona and Ndebele
are the two big tribes with English as the official language.
The country has a rich
history of tribal conflict, colonialism and eventual independence coming in 1980.
Known as the land of milk and honey, Zimbabwe is endowed with natural beauty, landscape
and a hard-working people.
The country currently uses USD with the back up of it's local currency.
Tourism is integral to it's economy and it's top 3 destinations are Victoria falls,
Hwange National park and Mama pools national park. Named after the Great Zimbabwe
ruins as "house of stone" the country boast some great cultural diversity and night
life in the suburbs of it's cities.
BOTSWANA
Botswana country is a symbol of good governance and stability in Africa. Formerly a British protectorate of Bechuanaland, Botswana gained its independence in September 1966.
Located in Southern Africa, Botswana is flanked by Namibia to the west, Zambia to the north, South Africa to the south, and Zimbabwe to the northeast.
The country is predominantly flat, with about 80% of its land covered in Kalahari sand. Almost half of this land is set aside for wildlife, making Botswana one of the best wildlife destinations in Africa.
Boasting an unmatched 120,000 elephants and a diverse range of other wildlife, Botswana's top wildlife destinations include the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park.
